Cascade du Hérisson

Water show

The mountain stream Hérisson crosses the mountains of the Jura. Not far from Doucier, it offers a great water show, as it falls down from the rocks. During a 3 hour hike you can observe a series of 7 cascades and 31 falls. The most spectacular falls are the 65 metres high Eventail, the Grand Saut (60 metres) and the Saint Girard (35 metres). This nature site will bring you a refreshing moment during hot summer days. If you don’t want to make the entire hike, the first fall is easy of access from the parking space, and definitely worth the detour.
